COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) — The search for a missing child from Lowndes County has ended in Georgia where 2-year-old Maliah Harris has been found safe.

That's the word from Lowndes County Chief Deputy Marc Miley who says the parents of the little girl are in custody in Georgia.

The disappearance of all three Wednesday led to an Amber Alert being issued.

Miley says the child is fine.

Investigators were looking for Donald  Harris, 34, and Allison Studdard, 31 after they took their daugther and left their Caledonia home after the couple's seven-month-old daughter was found unresponsive Wednesday morning.

Coroner Greg Merchant says there was no visible sign of injury and an autopsy performed Wednesday afternoon didn't reveal any prelminary cause of death.\

He says the state medical examiner will now study tissue and toxicology samples to try and learn why the little girl died.

Authorities say methamphetamine and ice were found inside the home on Honnell Mill Road during the investigation.

More details on the investigation are expected to be released Thursday morning.
