BURNSVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of the sexual battery of a child.
Trey Verrett of Louisiana is facing one count of sexual battery of a child.
Verrett was arrested after a mother reported the alleged crime to police.
Authorities say the investigation stems from the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl.
