After our second taste of Winter weather in the past two weeks, sunshine returns for today and sticks around through the weekend!  High pressure has settled into the region, along with a very cold and dry air mass. Morning lows were in the mid to upper 20s and look to stay that way, or get even colder in the near future.  High temperatures for Thursday afternoon will top out in the upper 40s, possibly low 50s farther south.  Thursday night will be another chilly one, as temperatures cool back down into the mid to upper 20s, under mostly clear skies.  Friday will be slightly warmer than Thursday, with highs warming into the low to mid 50s, near average for high temperatures for this time of year.  A few high clouds will stream across the area both Thursday and Friday, but mostly sunny skies will prevail.

Friday night into Saturday, a dry cold front will move through the area, will not bring us any precipitation, but will give us another shot of some colder and drier air.  Therefore high temperatures Saturday will drop back down into the 40s, with sunny skies.  Saturday night could be the coldest night we have seen so far this season, as temperatures are expected to drop into the low 20s in most locations.  A warming trend starts again Sunday afternoon and will continue towards the middle portions of the upcoming work week, with highs near 60 degrees next Wednesday.  Overnight lows will gradually warm up into the 30s.  As of right now, the next best chance for rain looks to be possibly next Wednesday or Thursday.
