After showers and storms yesterday, sunny skies return today. Get ready for some more beautiful Fall weather! Though the sunshine will be a little deceiving, as cooler and drier has settled into the region behind the cold front that brought the rain yesterday. High temperatures today will be close to 10 degrees below average for this time of year and will top out in the mid, to possibly upper 50s. It will be breezy with a northerly wind between 10-15 mph during the first half of the day, gradually subsiding during the afternoon and evening, as high pressure continues to build into the area.
Tonight get ready for a very cold one, just like last Friday, temperatures as you wake up tomorrow morning will mostly range in the mid to upper 20s, a widespread freeze is expected. Despite the chilly start, temperatures will rebound quite nicely as a warming trend starts Friday afternoon, thanks to high pressure shifting east, causing winds to become southerly. High temperatures Friday will range in the upper 50s, with a few 60 degree temperatures not out of the question. The warming trend will continue into the weekend, with highs Saturday in the low to mid 60s and Sunday in the low to mid 70s. Mostly sunny skies will prevail Saturday, with increasing clouds Sunday, and the chance for a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm.
