September has been above normal for the high temperatures so far and will continue to be in the same category for the next week or so.  We will see high temperatures well into the 90s during most of the next seven days.  Most likely we will cool off below the 90s by the end of the upcoming work week.  We will also see an increase in the moisture level in the air over the next few days.  This will make the 90s at times feel at times like it is over 100 degrees.  This will be a high heat index for this time of year.  Albeit, we will only see slim chances for some showers and thunderstorms as there will be no immediate culprit to fire up some of those showers and thunderstorms (such as a major cold front moving through the area, etc.).  However we may see a weaker front move through the area later in the upcoming work week and that could give us some scattered showers and thunderstorms. also as mentioned earlier . . . . . some slightly cooler temperatures.
