Most of the day today has been filled with something that we have not seen in North Mississippi and Western Alabama since January 13th . . . . . Rain!  It looks like the rain along with some isolated thunderstorms will continue for most of our Sunday evening and into the overnight.  A few stronger storms are not out of the question for some areas south of the Highway 82 corridor.  While, parts of extreme Northern Mississippi and Northern Alabama may see a little bit of a brief mix in precipitation as we go through the overnight hours.  So do not be surprised to see a little bit of slippery travel in that area, especially when it comes to some of the bridges and overpasses.  Most of this activity will clear out of our area around or just before sunrise.
Another round of some rain and some thunderstorms will be in North Mississippi and Western Alabama as we go into Tuesday and Tuesday night.  Once again with this next chance we could see a few stronger storms in the mix.  Along with another slight chance that some of this activity could briefly become mixed by later portions of Tuesday night and into the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday.
