Compared to a few weeks ago we are a bit cooler and more of this gradual cooling will be in store for Mississippi and Alabama over the next few weeks.  Albeit, most of this week will be in the seasonable to slightly above seasonable temperatures.  Most of the upcoming work week we will see high temperatures roughly in the 80s and overnight lows will be roughly in the 60s.  One exception could be Monday as some rain cooled areas will stay in the 70s.
This coming weekend we will see a pretty powerful cold front move through the area.  Do not be surprised to see some of the coldest weather of the season so far to move into Mississippi and Western Alabama.  We will see highs in the 60s and 70s by Sunday and overnight lows into the 40s and 50s.
