Our weather pattern will continue to flow storms southeastward across Mississippi and Alabama for the next several days.  However, there will be some lulls in the pattern.  We will see one of these lulls as high pressure builds into the area for a day or two starting with Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.  This will bring us a mostly dry Thursday and most likely first part of Friday.  Prior to this lull on showers and storms will likely be in patchy form for our Wednesday.  Most of these storms will be below severe weather limits, however a few could pack a punch with some strong and gusty winds.  Timing of these patches rain and storms will be the main puzzle in this forecast.  The best bet will be from late morning into the afternoon there will be at least one round.
Once again we will see a lull for most of Thursday and into the first part of Friday.  By later on Friday and into the weekend our pattern will once again become active as high pressure weakens across Mississippi and Western Alabama.  One can expect more patches of rain and storms to move through the area.
