It has been a pretty wet 2013 so far and in the near future more rain and storms are in the forecast. Our next round moves into the area on our Monday and into our Monday night. This latest round will be due to an area of low pressure that will move into the area gradually over the next couple of days. It looks likely that we will see some areas of rain and storms move into the area on Monday afternoon. Some of the rain will be on the heavy side and some of the storms will be on the strong to severe side. The farther south you live in the area the better your chances for some hefty storms.
Most of this activity will clear out of the area on our Tuesday. Along with the clearing of the rain and storms, we will see some very unseasonably cold air move back into the forecast. By later portions of the upcoming work week we will see high temperatures top off in the 40s, while overnight lows will drop down into the 20s. Once again, this is very cold weather as we go into the first part of the month of March.
