Scattered will be the password for our world of weather for the next several days.  Yes, more scattered showers, thundershowers and even some isolated heavy thunderstorms will be the rule across the area for the next several afternoons and early evenings.  These will mostly be produced due to the heating of the day.  Most overnights will be on the dry side as most of these heat produced showers and storms will break apart.  In other words, expect the typical weather for this time of year for Mississippi and Alabama.

Temperatures for the next several days will be mostly in the middle 90s for the high temperatures and mostly in the lower to middle 70s for the overnight lows.  We will see the heat index stay in the middle 90s to near 105 or so for most of the next several afternoons.
