Leftover big-time moisture is still lingering across the area from once upon a time Hurricane Isaac.  This moisture will continue to provide some fuel to showers, thundershowers and some thunderstorms over the next few days.  Most of the activity will be on the isolated to widely scattered side.  However, some of the storms at times may end up on the heavy and strong side.
Temperatures will continue to be on the hot side with mostly lower to middle 90s for highs, some areas over Western Mississippi may try to flirt with the century mark.  Heat index will also be on the high side over the next few days.  Mostly in the upper 90s to about 107 or so.
