Mild southerly winds flow across the area currently.  There is a lot of moisture moving northward with these winds.  A frontal system is just to our west in the Central and Southern Plains.  This front is headed our way.  This front will give us some good chances for some rain and a few thundershowers as it meets up with the southerly winds.  The best chances for rain, that could be heavy at times will be tomorrow night and into Monday & Tuesday.  It looks like that we will see very little, if any severe weather in the mix with this frontal passage.  So that is good news.  However, we need to still be on guard for the flooding.  Flood waters do kill more people in the United States on an average year, than most other severe weather.

Temperatures will be unseasonably mild for the next few days.  We will see the frontal system move through the area later on Monday.  Then, we will see much colder air once again plunge into the area as we dry things out for the most part.  So all in all our late Fall temperature roller coaster continues for the area.
