Heard from several folks on Saturday on how muggy it was all day long.  Well, this is just a taste of what is to come over the next several months.  One that has lived here in Mississippi and Alabama through late Springs and Summers, knows that this kind of weather is par for the course.  Saturday's high temperatures were only in the upper 70s to middle 80s.  That is certainly mild in comparison to where we could be.  I think the next several days will certainly be warmer than they have been over the last several.  We could see some of the hottest temperatures of the year so far.
Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated for the next few days, however better chances will be found in the forecast for the middle to late portion of the upcoming work week.  These chances will come with a storm system that is currently causing a lot of havoc in the central portion of The United States with lots of severe weather.  Most likely this system will lose just a little bit of its punch as it enters our world of weather.  However, we still cannot rule out some severe weather with this system when it reaches Mississippi and Alabama.
