Well, so far it has been a rainy weekend across our area. We have seen some area with a couple of inches of rainfall. Areas just east of Tupelo and also, just to the north of the highway 82 corridor. We also have seen some patches of hail with some of the stronger storms. All in all we will see a much more tranquil Sunday in our forecast. Albeit, we will still see some scattered showers and even a possibility of an isolated thunderstorm. There is even a slight chance of a little more hail being found with some of these isolated thunderstorms. By early next week, we will see our skies clear out for a couple of day. The best bet for mostly clear skies will be found on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Temperatures will continue to stay below normal throughout the next several days. Normal high temperatures for this time of year are in the upper 60s to near 70. We will stay mostly in the 40s and 50s over the next several days and warming up into the 60s by the end of the upcoming work week.
