Just a little better chance for some showers and storms will be found in our forecast for the next few days. This once again due to a very weak cool front. Once again most areas will see little if anything from the front. That is the way it goes this time of year when it comes to cool fronts moving into the area. Temperatures will continue to stay in the middle 90s to near 100 for highs through the rest of the week. We will see the heat index stay mostly in the 100 to 110 degree category for most of the afternoons for the next (at least) five to seven days. So basically we say goodbye to July and a howdy to August in the same weather style.
