It certainly was a nice day on our Saturday.  We climbed into the 70s for high temperatures and all of this under nice mostly sunny skies.  If you enjoyed the weather on our Saturday, most likely you will love the weather on our Sunday.  A just a bit of stronger southerly winds will be found across the area.  Then things change . . . . .
A cold front is headed our way and this front will bring the area back into some unseasonably cold conditions.  Most of the area will drop off temperature-wise on Monday.  We will see the mother-load of the cold air plunge into the area during the middle of the upcoming work week.  Most of the highs will drop off into the 50s, while most of the overnight lows will drop off into the 30s (even some 20s in the normally colder spots).  Most of the area will recover temperature-wise to near seasonable by the end of the work week.
Prior to the cold air moving into the area on Monday, we will see a good chance for some showers and storms along the cold front on our late Sunday night and Monday morning.  Some of the storms may be on the strong side.  I think the farther west you are the better your chances for severe weather.  Stay tuned to us here at The Weather Authority for the latest.
