Cooler air that has made its way into North Mississippi and Western Alabama will be short lived.  We will see the cold front currently to our south lift northward by later on Monday and into Tuesday.  This will bring back some chances for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.  This chance will linger for most of the middle portion of the upcoming work week.  We will see a few isolated thunderstorms get a little on the strong to heavy side at times.
We will see the warm front bring back some seasonable temperatures for North Mississippi and Western Alabama.  Normally, we should see high temperatures in the lower 90s this time of year, while most of the overnight lows should be in the lower 70s.  We will also see the heat index climb back to near 100 for most of the work week.  So, enjoy the lower humidity and lower temperatures that will be found in our forecast for Sunday.
