It was definitely a chilly morning across the region, with most temperatures cooling into the low to mid 30s, with widespread, light frost reported.  This morning will be the coldest morning associated this latest round of cold air, before a warming trend starts this afternoon and continues into next week.  Thanks to drier air in place, highs this afternoon will likely warm into the mid 60s, about a 30 degree warm up from low temperatures this morning.  Full sunshine will continue today, it's going to be another beauty, so enjoy!

Tonight get ready for another chilly one.  Those heading to high school football games tonight will definitely want to bundle up, as temperatures by 7:00 pm will already be in the 50s and likely by game end will be in the 40s.  Clear skies will help allow temperatures to cool back down into the 30s for Saturday morning, so again some patchy frost is possible.  Saturday afternoon highs will warm around 70 degrees, with plentiful sunshine and dry conditions.  A weak disturbance is expected to move across the area Saturday night into Sunday, not bringing any rain chances, just a slight increase in cloud cover.

The warming trend continues into next week, with highs by Tuesday, back into the 80s and morning lows back into the mid 50s.  By the middle to latter portions of next week, our next big cold front is forecast to move across the southeast.  This will bring us our next best chance for rain and our next shot of cold air.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!
