A stationary front will linger just to the south of the viewing area for the next few days.  This will continue to provide the area some isolated to scattered showers, thundershowers and thunderstorms through the weekend and into early sections of next week.  The heaviest and the strongest of the storms will be found mainly over southern sections of our viewing area, mainly along and south of the highway 82 corridor.  The main culprit when it comes to the stronger storms will be some strong and gusty winds.  So please stay weather alert as you venture out and about this weekend.

Temperatures will remain seasonable, if not slightly below seasonable for this time of year.  This will hold true both for the daytime highs and the overnight lows.  If you are wondering . . . . . What is seasonable for this time of year? . . . . . Well, the daytime highs should be right around 92, while the overnight lows should be right around 70.  So, really overall we will be not too shabby in the temperature category, compared to most of the Summer so far.
