Well, do you remember the last few days of 2011? Yes, not more than several days ago we saw high temperatures in the unseasonably warm 60's and lower 70's. We will rival those temperatures once again before we finish off this first work week of 2012. This warm up will be due to some brisk southerly winds gradually moving into the area. The southerly winds have already moved into portions of the area today. One can already see the milder nature of the temperatures today. Well, this is just the beginning, we will see Thursday, Friday and Saturday above normal big time for daytime high temperatures.
A few showers are not out of the question with a frontal passage on Saturday. A few showers may even develop in later portions of Friday. After the frontal system pushes through the area on Saturday, our temperatures will cool off to a much closer than normal level.
