Compared to last week, this week is a very mild week, indeed.  Temperatures for most of this upcoming work week will be in the 60s and 70s (by the way the normal high temperature for this time of year is in the upper 50s).  Along with the unseasonably mild conditions we are already seeing a few showers.  More showers and thunderstorms will be found in our weather forecast later in the week, especially on our Thursday afternoon and evening.  We could see some hefty thunderstorms in the mix during that time period (hefty being a good chance for some hail, tornado and strong wind producing storms).  Today's showers are due to the passage of a weak cold front.  While, the storms later in the week will be due to a much stronger cold frontal passage.  The Thursday storms are still over 3 days away, so there could be some changes in the forecast.  So, stay tuned over the next few days for further updates.
