conditions. a few sprinkles are possible this morning, but unlikely. however, through the day, we'll see the heat and humidity build. and this could lead to some isolated shower and thunderstorm activity into the afternoon. otherwise, it's just partly sunny, hot and humid with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s. heat index values will likely reach into the upper 90s. we should be mostly dry for friday night's high school football games. temperatures drop into the lower 70s by early saturday morning under mostly clear skies. and saturday appears to be sunny as well. so of course, that means hot, humid conditions for the college football games and all tailgating activities. remember, temperatures can run 5 to 10 degrees hotter inside both vaught- hemingway and davis wade stadium. so be prepared to stay cool and hydrated. there is no chance of a shower on saturday at this time. highs reach the lower and mid-90s. heat index values may reach the upper 90s and lower 100s. we'll remain dry into sunday as well, along with more heat and humidity. highs will be in the lower 90s all the way into
