lee county sheriff deputy was taken to the hospital after being in involved in a crash with an suv. two other people were injured. wtva's evan hensley is live at the lee county sheriff department with the latest. (put new information here) we are still trying to learn more on the identity of both the deputy as well as one of the passengers from the crash that happened this morning. the crash happened on highway 278 and county road 199 just outside of tupelo. the mississippi highway patrol says the deputy was attempting to cross the highway from this county road when his vehicle collided with the a toyotasuv that was heading westbound. the driver of the toyota has been identified as 59-year-old patricia foradori of aberdeen. she had another person in the passenger seat. that passenger and the deputy have not yet been identified. all 3 people involved were taken to north mississippi medical center. thankfully, we're told all three are expected to recover. we are are still learning more information as it comes in. in lee county, evan hensley wtva 9 news we're working
