also found in the walls. happy wednesday!! it's another warm, humid start across the mid-south this wednesday morning with partly clear skies. we'll see sunshine through much of the day, warming temperatures well into the lower to mid-90s. heat index values likely get into the upper 90s to lower 100s, making for an even hotter day today than what we've seen earlier this week. a few isolated showers and storms are possible. but today's should be a little less widespread than what we saw in the last couple of days. we'll continue to see this heat and humidity into your thursday. afternoon highs reach into the middle 90s with heat index values into the upper 90s to lower 100s. a few spotty showers and storms are likely, and these will increase in coverage a bit more as we head into your friday and saturday, perhaps even into sunday as well. as a result of our increased rain chances, temperatures may be a little bit lower. but i won't say much cooler, since the humidity will still be in play. highs will be mostly in the lower 90s
