to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off down into the upper 60s to lower 70s. it was another day filled with some scattered showers and thunderstorms. we did see a few of the thunderstorms reach to heavy and hefty levels at times this afternoon. otherwise we saw plenty of sunshine as the rule across our area with temperatures well into the 80s to lower 90s for highs. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will continue to see some isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures drop off down into the upper 60s to lower 70s. we will see more scattered showers and thunderstorms in the weather forecast as we go into our friday and the upcoming weekend. some of the thunderstorms will be on the heavy and hefty side at times. otherwise we will see most of our high temperatures reach well into the 80s to around 90 degrees. heat index will be well into the 90s to near 100 for many areas. we will see a chance that a tropical system will affect our weather forecast by the late weekend and into early portions of next week. this is a developing situation and we will continue to update the weather forecast for that time period as
