for northeast mississippi. temperatures overnight have fallen into the lower upper to lower 30s across the area. patchy frost will be an issue for the first few hours on your monday morning. be sure to grab a jacket before heading out the door this morning! the goodnews, however, is that today (unlike yesterday) will be a primarily sunny day and this will help us warm up a bit more throughout the course of the morning and heading into the afternoon hours. we should climb easily into the middle-50s with most places closer to the upper-50s and even lower-60s by mid- afternoon. high pressure will control our weather forecast as we start off the work week. we will see a pretty cool monday in store for our area, however we will see warmer temperatures in the forecast as we go later into the work week. this warm up for both our daytime highs and for the overnight lows will be due to high pressure moving to our east and we tap into some nice warm southerly winds. we will see a brief visit from a frontal system on our
