r2-d2. the state high school basketball tournament has reached the championship round. several area teams are going for state titles over the next few days and nights. we'll start with class 4a boys. corinth taking on raymond. corinth trying to keep the raymond rangers from repeating as state champs... first quarter, rangers on a run-out, it's shardarrion allen with the rim-rattler... allen had 29 points and ten rebounds... warriors aren't rattled! tada stricklen misses the pull up j, but d.t. sheffield is there for the rebound and putback... after a raymond miss, jondarius warren drives coast-to-coast for 2... warren had sixteen points.... corinth takes an early 8-5 lead... warriors would take a 10-5 lead after warren drives hard to the basket again... corinth gets a good break here.....tada stricklen is blocked, but the ball ends up in the hands of sheffield, who hits a tough contested shot.. warriors led 12-11 after 1 but raymond clamps down in the second quarter and led 26-20 at the break.. rangers go on to win, 64-52, to repeat as state champions. wtva's andy lee is covering the state championships in jackson. he joins us now live from the big house with a recap. thanks jim....
