high pressure dominated our weather today across our area. this gave us plenty of sunshine as the rule across our area today. we saw most of the temperatures reach to seasonable levels for the highs this afternoon, mostly well into the 50s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see high pressure continue to control the weather in our area. we will see clear skies as the rule overnight and we will see most of the overnight lows just a little bit milder than last nights lows, upper 20s to middle 30s. as we go into our friday, we will see the cloud cover on the increase across our area and we will see temperatures warm up to around 60 degrees for the high. we will see some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms become the rule as we go into the evening hours. this increase in cloud cover, rainfall and isolated thunderstorms will be due to a few frontal systems moving our way from our south and from our northwest. these systems will continue a chance for some rain and thunderstorms as we go into our weekend. some of the rainfall may be heavy at times and some of the thunderstorms may be a bit on the strong side at times. these newborns
