we saw most of the area see plenty of sunshine to variably cloudy skiesand high temperatures that reached well into the 60s in most areas. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see high pressure gradually give up its grip over our area. we will see the cloud cover variable to mostly cloudy as we go through the night, however only isolated showers. we will see most of the overnight low temperatures only drop off down into the 40s. so our mild weather trend continues across our area. on our sunday we will see another pretty mild or warm day (depending upon your point of view) with temperature well into the 60s to maybe some 70s for highs. we will see generally variably cloudy skies ahead of an approaching cold front. we will see only some isolated showers lingering around our area. by sunday night and into our monday we will see the aforementioned cold front move into our area. we will see a better chance for some patchy rain and some isolated to scattered thunderstorms in our weather forecast, especially for our monday morning. a few of the thunderstorms may end up being on the hefty side at times. our main culprit of the hefty storms, seems still to be in the form of some strong and gusty winds at times. most of the rain and thunderstorms will clear out of our area during our monday afternoon. we will see our area gradually dry out and stay pretty much on the seasonable side as we go into the rest of the upcoming work week. by later in the upcoming week, we will see another frontal system move into our area. this frontal system will give us a chance for some showers and thunderstorms once again for our friday and into our saturday. governor phil bryant has issued a state of
