clear skies once again.and yes, those temperatures are frigid.but big time improvements are on the way as temperatures will be much warmer this afternoon.expect nothing but sunshine and continued thawing across the region.right now, we begin in the upper teens to lower 20s.through the rest of the day, we'll warm into the upper 40s.winds will be out of the southwest, allowing for much warmer air into the region.then tonight, we'll only drop into the lower 30s.one or two of us will get below freezing briefly.but some may not get back below freezing until the middle of next week.we'll continue to warm into the weekend with highs returning to the lower 60s by sunday.clouds increase into sunday, followed by showers and storms monday morning.those showers and storms come with a cold front, but will only drop temperatures a little bit.highs will be in the mid-50s by the middle of next week with morning lows in the lower to mid-30s. for more details, visit our website at wtva.com and wlov.com. after months of silence
