youre watching wtva nine news at five... i'm craig ford new at five a family in eupora is recovering tonight after barely escaping a house fire. we're told they lost everything in the blaze. wtva's shante sumpter has the story std." 00-13 16-20 :55-1:03 more than 10 hours later this home on highway 182 is still smoldering. you can see all of the smoke in the air out here. i'm told the six people who were there barely got out. unfortunately, some of their extended family members did not.they're doing ok. but they're taking it pretty hard because you know that was their home.to make matters worst. two dogs died in the blazeit was little chihuahuas. they loved their dogs.firefighters battled the fire in seven degree weather. alexia tells me she heard sirens but thought icy conditions were the causei looked outside and i saw red lights.i thought they had just closed the road. i looked out my front window. but i looked out the side window and saw flames.prompting her to tell her parents, who went down two houses down to help. firefighters say they did find a small puppy alive under the homei was told by neighbors that the people that lived here are staying with family members nearby. the cause of the fire is still being investigated. in eupora ss wtva 9 news up next.... wtva meteorologist alan
