police say a man turned himself in early this morning after apparently shooting another man during a fight. willie c. mcmillan is behind bars charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. w-t-v-a's wayne hereford has the story from where the fight took place. ." standup..i'm standing inside of the house where the shooting incident took place. i also interviewed an eyewitness " natsotbreak.."that's a bullet hole? huh hun,that's a bullet hole. and he was standing right here and got shot right here and it went through here. he was standing like this, and it went like this." tyeshagrady says she was there when willie mcmillan shot a man she calls "dee" according to police, his name is deante ezell. this all happened at ezell's house at 409 south gatlin. "willie c. got mad because "short doig" was talking to me. willie c. used to talk to me ,so.he had a grudge since the other day and he told them to put me out but they didn't want to put me out." but she says she would not leave which eventually led to the shooting when mcmillan came back to the house. "willie c. came back with his wife.and that's when he brought a gun .he wanted to shoot "short dog" but "short dog" punched him in the eye because he tried to fight with him.so he had shot dee in the lower stomach. and that's when all the shooting happened." "dee she says, is a friend of "short dog's" which further infuriated mcmillan. police say that dee, the victim, is o.k.
