the story across our area. after some pretty good rainfall overnight and well into our sunday morning, the drizzle continued across our area. we saw plenty of cloud cover otherwise as the day went on and most of our temperatures hovered in the middle 40s to middle 50s. as we go through the evening and overnight hours we will see plenty of clouds, drizzle and fog continue to be the story across our area. we will not see the temperures drop off too far if any as we go through the overnight hours, most of the overnight lows will stay in the lower to middle 40s. as we go through our monday and into our monday evening, we will stay mostly on the mostly cloudy side with some isolated showers every now and then. we will see a few breaks in some of the cloud cover and that will allow many areas to warm up just a little bit as we go into the afternoon hours. we will see most othe high temperatures in the upper 50s to middle 60s, however if some thicker clouds prevail we will see some areas stay a little cooler. another area of low pressure will move into our area as we go into our tuesday. this will bring us some more chances for some rain and even some thunderstorms in our area from later tuesday morning and into our wednesday morning. a few of the thunderstorms at times could be on the hefty side, especially southern and eastern portions our viewing area. most of this activity will taper off as we go into wednesday afternoon, as the aforementioned low pressure system pushes to our east. we will see just a little bit of a lull in our weather forecast through our thursday evening and then another frontal system moves into our area from our northwest. this will bring our area some more chances for some rain and some thunderstorms as we go into our friday and friday evening. once again, there is the potential for some of the thunderstorms to be on the hefty side at times. we will see another front move into our area on our saturday evening and this will keep our area on the chilly side, reinforcing the air behind our friday front as we go through our holiday weekend. we will see some more showers linger in our area through our saturday and into our sunday as this front becomes stationary in our area. all in all this is going to be a very wet pattern for our area over the next few weeks, good news for areas that have been going though a drought over the last several months. however, not good news for all of the last minute christmas shoppers that will have to dodge some showers and maybe even a few isolated thunderstorms at times. republican roy moore is still refusing to concede the alabama senate
