OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Former FIU defensive lineman Fadol Brown decided to transfer to Ole Miss on Friday.
The sophomore from Charleston, S.C., played the 2012 season at Florida International University, and will have to sit out the 2013 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Brown appeared in 12 games for the Golden Panthers in 2012, recording eight total tackles with five solo tackles, including 1.5 sacks.
The Rivals.com three-star recruit also reportedly had many other offers, including ones from LSU, Tennessee, and Miami.
Brown tweeted Friday "Great day to be a rebel".
Florida International fired head coach Mario Cristobal in the offseason, and Brown had initially enrolled at ICC before transferring to Ole Miss.
