OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- Ole Miss officials report private fundraising has once again reached record levels.
The school is reports nearly $118 million in donations to the school's academic, health care and athletic programs.
It marks the third year in a row the school has topped $100 million in donations.
Among the money is nearly $6 million to hire newly named faculty positions.
The school expects needing to add 200 professors over the next few years to keep up with the growth in enrollment.
Nearly 42,000 gifts and pledges were made during the year, up from 37,000 in 2013.
