MSU, Ole Miss ranked in preseason Top 25

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs are both ranked in the Top 25 of Perfect Game's preseason rankings.

The Diamond Dogs come in at No. 16 while the Rebels are ranked No. 19 in the preseason rankings.

Mississippi State won the SEC Tournament in 2012, finishing the year with a (40-24) record. Ole Miss finished the year with a (37-26) record. Both teams made appearances in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

The Southeastern Conference is well-represented in the Top 25, holding 2 of the Top 3 and 3 of the Top 5 spots in the rankings - Arkansas is ranked No. 2, Vanderbilt is ranked No. 3 and LSU is ranked No. 5.

The ACC's North Carolina Tar Heels are ranked No. 1 in the country.
