TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi State moved up a spot in the AP Poll this week, despite not playing a game. The Bulldogs are now ranked No. 20 in the nation after Michigan State's one-point loss to Ohio State.

Mississippi State remains ranked 19th in the Coaches' Poll this week.

The LSU Tigers slipped from No. 3 to No. 4 in the AP Poll after their performance against Towson on Saturday. Florida State - who defeated South Florida on Saturday - takes over as the new No. 3.

Alabama is now the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation, earning all 60 first place votes in the poll. LSU and Florida State each received a single first place vote in the Coaches' Poll.

Oregon remains the No. 2 team in the nation, while Georgia's close-call win over Tennessee keeps them at No. 5.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are still in at No. 6, with the No. 10 Florida Gators closing out the list of teams from the Southeastern Conference in the Top 25.
