STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Mississippi State's football team visits Auburn this Saturday, but school officials are already looking ahead to the Bulldogs' next home game, Sept. 21 vs. Troy.
MSU athletic director Scott Stricklin said Wednesday in his weekly online column that going forward, the gates at Davis-Wade Stadium will open two hours and 15 minutes ahead of kickoff.
Stricklin says that three hours "may be a bit early." That was the case in the home opener last Saturday against Alcorn State.
