STARKVILLLE, Miss. (WTVA/MSU Athletics) — Denico Autry, Quay Evans, Dylan Holley, Charles Siddoway and Justin Senior officially became members of the 2012 Mississippi State football team this month. Head coach Dan Mullen announced the arrival of the three junior college transfers – Autry, Holly and Siddoway – and high school graduates Evans and Senior.
“It’s great to welcome these five young men to our Mississippi State family,” Mullen said. “We’re happy they’re here for the spring semester and will be able to develop in our offseason program and participate in spring practices.”
The junior college transfers complete the 2011 signing class and will not be included as part of the spring signing period. The 2012 spring signing period for football begins with National Signing Day on February 1. Last summer, the Southeastern Conference adopted legislation limiting the size of a football signing class to 25.
The Bulldogs began offseason workouts last week and will begin spring practice on March 22. The Maroon-White spring game is scheduled for April 17, and the Bulldogs will kick off the 2012 season at home against Jackson State on September 1.
