ABCOn Saturday, September 1, 2012, WTVA launched ABC WTVA.  This channel broadcasts over-the-air on channel 9.2 in high definition.  For most cable and satellite subscribers the change has been seamless.  Viewers who use an antenna to watch ABC on channel 45 will have to re-scan their television to channel 9.2.

What is the name of the new channel?
ABC WTVA. Both WTVA and ABC WTVA will broadcast in high definition.

Will this change NBC programming on WTVA?
No.  NBC programming will continue to air on channel 9.1.

Will there be changes to WTVA News programming?
No.  However, viewers on ABC WTVA will  be able to watch WTVA News Today each morning from 5:00–7:00 a.m. as well as WTVA News At Five, Six, and Ten.

What happened to Me-TV?
Me-TV has moved to our sister television station WLOV.  WLOV will continue to air FOX programming in high definition on channel 27.1.  Me-TV West Point airs on channel 27.2 and This West Point airs on channel 27.3.
