YALOBUSHA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) -- Yalobusha County authorities say a missing Water Valley woman has been found.

A Silver Alert was issued for Betty Ruth Dorris, 81, who was last seen around noon Thursday on Highway 32 in Water Valley.

Authorities say she suffers from Alzheimer's.

Sheriff Lance Humphreys says a National Guard Helicopter crew joined the search Friday afternoon and discovered Dorris' car in the Ford's Well Recreation Area at Enid Lake, not far from her home.

Humphreys says Dorris was asleep inside the car.

He says authorities knocked on the window and asked her if she was okay.  Her reply was "I'm fine."

Humphreys says she was checked about by emergency responders and has been allowed to return home with her family.
