ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Winston County man will spend 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to sexual abuse of a minor under the age of 14.

Cedric Tubby, 22, of Louisville entered the guilty plea in U. S. District Court in February and was sentenced Thursday in U. S. District Court in Aberdeen.

Tubby was accused of having inappropriate contact with the victim in January of 2011 in the Crystal Ridge Community of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

In addition to the prison sentence, Tubby will serve five years probation and must register as a sex offender when he is released from prison.
