Update: Firefighters called to blaze in Eupora

EUPORA, Miss. (WTVA) -- Firefighters responded to the scene of a fire late Saturday afternoon in downtown Eupora.

Webster County 911 Director Jimmy Mclemore said the fire started in Maryetta's Retail Shop around five o'clock.

Right now, they're not sure what caused the fire.

Mclemore said the fire spread to other retail businesses, including M&O and Classy Closets.

He said no one was inside at the time of the fire. There are no injuries. 

Corporal Mitch Jackson said the they're working on extinguishing the flames, but he adds it could be in several of the buildings.

He said at least four building have been consumed by the flames.
