PITTSBORO, Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities say the arrests of three people over the weekend could help them solve over 10 burglaries in recent weeks.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says a tip Friday lead to the recovery of stolen property at a Vardaman home.

He says Vincente Sanchez, 34, and Jennifer Kellum Sanchez, 27, of County Road 424 were taken into custody.

They are charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Pollan says evidence collected at the scene connects the pair to 10 burglaries, and possibly as many as 15 breakins in Calhoun, Chickasaw and Webster County.

He says Rosendo Gonzalez, 72, of Vardaman was arrested after more items were recovered at his home on Nabors Circle.

Gonzalez is charged with possession of stolen property over $500.

Pollan says Vardaman Police, Chickasaw County deputies and Webster County deputies are assisting with the investigation.
