WALTHALL, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Webster County Courthouse went up in flames January 17, and the board supervisors is deciding what to do next.
One city leader explains the board has three options.
"To restore what's left here at the county courthouse or to try to find property here in Walthall to build a brand new courthouse. Then of course the other option would be to move to downtown Eupora," said Public Information Officer Jimmy Forrester.
Building a new courthouse in Eupora requires a vote from residents to move the county seat.
The courthouse was first built in 1915 and refurbished in 1974.
