Second suspect dies following pursuit accident

EUPORA, Miss. (WTVA) -- The driver of the car that hit and killed a Eupora police officer during a pursuit Wednesday has died.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol reports Frank Levon Maye, 33, of Orlando, Florida died at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Friday morning.

Maye was at the wheel of the car that struck Keith Crenshaw during a pursuit with law enforcement.

Nathaniel Robinson, 22, of Orlando, Florida was ejected from the car after it struck a steel light pole and died at the scene of the accident.

Brandon Johnson, 26, of Orlandoa, Florida was treated at the Eupora hospital, then turned over to Grenada police on an armed robbery charge.

He is currently being held in the Grenada County jail and further charges are pending against him.

The pursuit occured Wednesday after authorities spotted the car believed to have been involved in the robbery of a check cashing business in Grenada.
