EUPORA, Miss. (WTVA) — The State Fire Marshal's office says evidence from a Eupora fire that damaged four buildings suggests it was accidental.

The Webster County Public Information Officer says they are waiting for a written report from the State Fire Marshal soon that will have specific details on the ruling.

The fire started the afternoon of July 5th. Once it began, it spread quickly and took several hours to put out.

Officials say the buildings damaged in the fire were among the oldest in the city.
