TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - At four o'clock Wednesday morning, I began driving around Tupelo near the Natchez Trace Parkway to check the road conditions and weather.
At that time, there was little rain and small amounts of sleet, so I began driving to New Albany on Highway 78.
There, I found the same conditions, although with heavier traffic.
In Pontotoc County, I drove through heavier winds and rain, including bumper to bumper traffic.
There was no ice on the roads I traveled.
Weather conditions could change throughout the day. If you want to check the road conditions in Mississippi, call 511 or visit mdottraffic.com
