ASHLAND, Miss. (WTVA) -- A Union County man died in a traffic accident in Benton County Wednesday morning.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol reports William Price, 80, of Myrtle was behind the wheel of a vehicle that ran off Highway 5 in Benton County and struck a tree.
A passenger in the vehicle, Marlene Price, 76, remains hospitalized.
A passing motorist noticed the accident and stopped to help.
The accident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
