NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) -- A New Albany man has pleaded guilty to the shooting death of Amanda Price.
Craig O'Brien Baker, 22, entered a guilty plea to murder during a hearing in Union County Circuit Court Wednesday.
District Attorney Ben Creekmore says Baker also agreed to plead guilty to charges of aggravated assault, two counts of auto burglary, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Authorities say Baker shot Amanda Price and her husband, Ron Price, when they returned home the night of December 5, 2011.
Ron Price was shot in the shoulder.
Baker was sentenced to serve life in prison with the possibility of parole plus 20 years on the charges.
He is currently being held in the Union County jail until he is turned over to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Baker was already serving an eight-year prison sentence on two counts of burglary of a dwelling at the Walnut Grove Correctional Facility.
